Warehouse Operative (Medical Devices)

Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £12.25–£12.75 per hour (£27,072–£28,178 per annum), depending on experience, plus quarterly performance bonus (up to approximately £1,600 per annum).

The Role

Working as part of our warehouse team, you'll help ensure customer orders are processed accurately and dispatched promptly whilst maintaining the high standards expected within the medical device industry.

Your responsibilities will include:

Accurately picking and packing customer orders.
Checking products prior to dispatch.
Receiving, inspecting and putting away incoming deliveries.
Maintaining accurate stock locations and good warehouse organisation.
Preparing shipments for courier collection.
Assisting with stock counts and inventory control.
Preparing marketing materials and exhibition stock when required.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Following company quality procedures and Health & Safety requirements.
Working efficiently to meet daily productivity and quality standards.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Comfortable working as part of a small, friendly team.
Physically capable of carrying out manual warehouse duties, including lifting and moving stock safely.
Able to prioritise tasks and work efficiently.
Keen to learn and develop.
Looking for a long-term career opportunity.

Whether you already have warehouse experience or are looking to build a career in logistics and distribution, we'd like to hear from motivated individuals who take pride in accuracy, reliability and delivering excellent service. Full training will be provided.

Experience using warehouse management systems, barcode scanners or courier dispatch software would be advantageous but is not essential.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
8:00am – 5:00pm
42.5 hours per week
No weekends
No regular evening work

Probationary Period

This role is subject to a six-month probationary period, during which full training and support will be provided. Eligibility for the quarterly performance bonus will commence following successful completion of probation.

Essential Requirements

Right to work in the United Kingdom.
Good spoken and written English.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Ability to undertake manual handling duties safely.
Ability to work on-site in Watford.
