Overview
We are seeking a skilled Car Fabricator/Welder to join our Classic Car team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating classic car body work and components according to specifications, ensuring that all work meets industry standards.

Responsibilities

Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
Perform welding tasks using MIG welding techniques on various materials, including sheet metal.
Assemble fabricated parts and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.
Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks.
Demonstrate mechanical knowledge in the assembly of complex structures.

Qualifications

Proven experience in car welding and fabrication, particularly with MIG welding techniques.
Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the fabrication process.
Good mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Experience working with sheet metal essential.
A strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
