Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our premises, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is advantageous, but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where your efforts contribute directly to guest satisfaction and overall service quality.

Duties

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities according to established standards
Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required
Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organised manner
Assist with laundry duties when necessary
Ensure all areas are kept tidy and presentable at all times

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred but not essential
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team setting
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is desirable but training will be provided
