Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Production and inventory manager to oversee the main manufacturing plant within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, resources, and teams to ensure efficient delivery of high-quality outcomes. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise teams, ensuring all work is completed safely and on time.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth project execution.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies across all sites.
Conduct regular site inspections to oversee work quality and resolve any issues promptly.
Adhere to and manage health and safety on site.
Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and opportunities for senior management.
Oversee all of the sites inventory and material planning working with internal and external stakeholders
Manage procurement processes and oversee the utilisation of resources efficiently.

Experience

Proven management experience within the manufacturing sector.
Supervising experience with a track record of leading successful projects from inception to completion.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Proven people management experience including timesheets and monitoring of time and attendance.
