Job Description:

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team at The Lewisham located on Dartmouth Golf Course in West Bromwich. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing outstanding service.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
Provide menu information, assist with food choices, and take orders accurately.
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism, providing assistance as needed.
Assist in bartending duties when required, ensuring responsible service of alcohol.
Support catering events as necessary, contributing to a seamless service experience.

Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Please do not apply to this role if you have no hospitality experience.
Skills in bartending or food preparation are advantageous.
A strong understanding of food safety practices is essential.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition to help create a positive environment.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
