We’re looking for an experienced, hands on Operations Manager to join the team at The Bulkeley Hotel in Beaumaris.
Working closely with the General Manager, this is a key operational role within the hotel and an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy hospitality environment, enjoys leading from the front and knows what great guest service looks like.
While you’ll have experience in Food & Beverage, you’ll also be confident in having responsibility across Housekeeping and Front of House.

What You’ll Be Doing
· Supporting the day to day operational management of the hotel
· Taking a lead role in the performance and delivery of the hotel’s Food & Beverage operation
· Ensuring consistently high standards across restaurant, bar and service areas
· Overseeing and supporting the effective operation of Housekeeping and Front of House
· Ensuring excellent operational and guest service standards are maintained across all hotel departments
· Leading, motivating and supporting the wider operational teams
· Assisting with managing rotas and staffing levels in line with business requirements
· Monitoring labour costs, stock, wastage and other key operational costs
· Driving revenue opportunities and supporting the commercial performance of the hotel
· Ensuring excellent guest service and dealing confidently with feedback or complaints
· Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training and development of team members
· Ensuring teams follow food hygiene, licensing, health & safety and hotel procedures
· Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service
· Supporting events, functions and busy trading periods
· Working alongside the General Manager to identify opportunities to improve standards, efficiency and profitability
· Deputising for the General Manager in their absence
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an experienced hospitality professional who is comfortable being visible on the floor and leading from the front.
Qualifications:
· Strong Food & Beverage management experience within a hotel, restaurant or similar hospitality environment
· Previous experience as an Operations Manager, F&B Manager, Deputy General Manager or similar
· Experience or a good understanding of wider hotel operations including Housekeeping and Front of House
· A strong understanding of restaurant and bar operations
· Experience managing and motivating hospitality teams
· Excellent guest service and communication skills
· Good commercial awareness, including labour, stock and cost control
· Confidence managing busy services and making operational decisions
· Leadership capability to take responsibility for the hotel in the General Manager’s absence
· Strong organisation and problem-solving skills
· Knowledge of food hygiene, licensing and health & safety requirements
· A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends and key trading periods
