About The Role

PLEASE NOTE - We ARE offering Sponsorship for this role however, we are unable to take overseas applications at this time and are not offering relocation packages.

Are you a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant looking to make a genuine difference in people’s lives? Kitnocks House is looking for dedicated individuals with at least one year’s experience within a care home setting to join our exceptional team.

Our 63-bed home is made up of four specialised units, each providing high-quality, person-centred care for residents living with complex needs, including dementia, mental health conditions, or other neurological disorders. It’s a vibrant and rewarding place to work, where every day brings the opportunity to make someone’s life that little bit brighter.

What You’ll Bring

You’ll thrive here if you’re kind-hearted, patient, and committed to providing care that goes beyond the basics. We’re looking for people who naturally treat residents with warmth and respect.

12 months minimum experience working in nursing and/or care homes, as a healthcare assistant or similar role within the UK (essential)
A genuine passion for helping others and promoting dignity and independence
Emotional resilience and a steady head in challenging situations
Good communication skills (both written & verbal)
A positive team-focused attitude
A caring, reliable, and positive attitude
Willingness to undertake training and continuous professional development
NVQ Level 2 or working towards it (desirable)

Your Working Pattern

Day shift: 07:30 – 20:00
Average: 40.25 hours per week
Alternate weekends

What You’ll Be Doing

No two days are quite the same as a Healthcare Assistant, but your main responsibilities will include:

Support all aspects of daily living including personal care, mealtimes, and social activities
Promote independence, choice, and dignity in every interaction
Observe and report on changes in residents’ health and well-being
Collaborate with your team to ensure exceptional, person-centred care
Communicate openly and respectfully with colleagues, residents, and their loved ones
