Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and assisting in food preparation when necessary.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are noted and communicated effectively to the kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our restaurant standards.
Assist with food preparation in the kitchen as needed, adhering to food safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction at all times.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes served.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all guests receive prompt attention.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills is essential for providing outstanding guest services.
Experience in food preparation or kitchen assistance would be beneficial but not mandatory.
