We’re looking for an exceptional part-time Grill Chef to join the team at Supernova Mayfair, our bold and energetic smashed burger concept. Known for our lively vibe and unforgettable burgers, Supernova is all about energy, flavour, and fast-paced fun, redefining London’s quick-service dining scene.

Supernova is part of BVC Hospitality, the hospitality powerhouse behind standout venues like NAC, Crème, 74 Duke, and Le Café NAC, with locations across London, Paris, and the Middle East. We're known for pairing creative concepts with operational excellence.

POSITION SUMMARY
As a Grill Chef at Supernova Mayfair, you’ll play a key role in preparing and cooking our signature smashed burgers and supporting the smooth running of the service.

You’ll be responsible for delivering consistent food quality, keeping standards high, and working closely with the wider team to create a fast, efficient, and energetic service. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy kitchen, enjoys working with fresh food, and wants to be part of an exciting concept.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and cook smashed burgers and other menu items to Supernova standards
Work confidently on the grill during busy service periods
Ensure all food is cooked, presented, and served to a consistently high standard
Support with food preparation and stock rotation
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment at all times
Follow all food safety, health, hygiene, and allergen procedures
Communicate clearly with the rest of the teams during service
Represent the Supernova energy with every shift

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience as a Grill Chef, Line Chef, Commis Chef, or Kitchen Team Member
Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen or quick-service environment preferred
Confident working with grills and high-volume food preparation
Strong attention to detail and pride in food quality
Ability to stay calm and organised under pressure
Positive attitude and willingness to support the team
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards
Available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and busy periods
