We're now looking for a motivated, customer-focused Enquiry Handler to join our busy team and help turn customer interest into showroom visits.

The Role

As an Enquiry Handler, you'll be the vital link between our online customers and our sales team. You'll respond to incoming enquiries from our website, finance applications, social media, and major motor advertising platforms — answering questions, qualifying customer needs, and booking appointments for our sales executives.

This is a fast-paced role suited to someone with great communication skills, a sales-minded attitude, and the drive to convert enquiries into genuine opportunities.

What you'll be doing:

Responding promptly to inbound enquiries via phone, email, web chat, and social media
Following up on enquiries from major motor advertising platforms.
Qualifying customers' needs, budget, and finance requirements
Booking appointments and test drives for the sales team
Providing accurate information on vehicles, finance options, and part-exchange
Handling finance pre-application enquiries and completing applications over the phone.
Following up on missed appointments and previous enquiries to maximise conversion
Logging all customer interactions accurately on the dealer management system
Working closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth customer handover
Hitting individual and team targets

What we're looking for:

Previous experience in a contact centre, telesales, customer service, or BDC (Business Development Centre) role
Confident telephone manner and excellent written communication skills
A target-driven mindset with the resilience to handle a high volume of enquiries
Strong listening skills and the ability to quickly build rapport
Well-organised, with great attention to detail when logging customer information
Comfortable with Microsoft Office and quick to pick up new systems
Reliable team player, happy to work weekends

Desirable (but not essential):

Experience in the motor trade, dealership BDC, or automotive call centre
Knowledge of dealer management systems (e.g. Dealerkit, Click)
Understanding of vehicle finance (HP, PCP) and part-exchange processes
Full UK driving licence
