Full job description

ASR Operative

Starting from £12.71 P/H with overtime and overtime rate available

Hours

Monday to Friday 07.00 am - 17.00 pm. Please note that occasional weekend work may be required and overtime will be paid at a higher rate.

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and motivated ASR Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day operational duties safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Operating and monitoring ASR equipment and machinery.
Following site procedures, safety requirements, and operational instructions.
Sorting, handling, and processing materials as required.
Carrying out routine checks and reporting any equipment faults or issues.
Keeping the work area clean, organised, and safe.
Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily targets.
Completing basic records and reporting operational issues to supervisors.
Following all company health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone who is:

Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Comfortable working in a busy operational environment.
Able to follow instructions and workplace procedures.
Safety-conscious with a good attitude towards health and safety.
Physically capable of carrying out the duties required for the role.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good at communicating with colleagues and supervisors.
Willing to learn and develop new skills.
Previous experience in a recycling, waste, manufacturing, warehouse, or plant environment is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.
