Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Landscaping Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various outdoor maintenance and construction tasks, ensuring the upkeep and enhancement of our clients’ landscapes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in horticulture, gardening, and construction within a dynamic environment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to contribute to high-quality landscape projects.

Responsibilities

Assisting with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing, and weeding
Operating hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment including excavators and irrigation systems
Supporting construction activities related to garden features, pathways, and other outdoor structures
Performing routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure safety and efficiency
Preparing sites for planting or construction by clearing debris and levelling ground
Assisting with the installation of irrigation systems and other horticultural features
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to promote safety standards

Qualifications

Experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, or construction is desirable
Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with power tools and hand tools are advantageous
Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or irrigation systems is a plus
Good organisational skills with an eye for detail in maintenance tasks
Physical fitness to undertake manual labour outdoors in various weather conditions
A valid driver’s licence is preferred but not essential
Willingness to learn new skills and work effectively as part of a team
