Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across a variety of residential properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and practical experience in plumbing and heating systems. The position involves working both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service to clients, ensuring safety standards are maintained at all times.

Must live within 15 miles of Lincoln due to insurance, fuel and lease costs

Duties

Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and heating systems in residential settings
Using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete tasks efficiently
Conducting routine inspections to identify issues with existing systems and implementing appropriate solutions
Performing heavy lifting of equipment or materials safely and effectively
Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards

Qualifications

Must Have ACS in natural gas CENWAT and CPA1
Proven experience in plumbing and heating of atleast 5 years
Oil and LPG qualifications would be advantageous
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and assembly processes.
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, boilers and pipe assembly
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Mechanical knowledge combined with problem-solving skills for troubleshooting issues effectively
Valid driving licence
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
