Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Martial Arts Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality martial arts training programmes, fostering a positive learning environment, and inspiring students of all ages and skill levels. This role offers an excellent opportunity to share your expertise, promote physical fitness, and develop students’ confidence and discipline.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging martial arts classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels
Demonstrate techniques accurately and ensure students understand proper form and safety procedures
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement
Maintain a safe, welcoming, and disciplined training environment
Organise special workshops, demonstrations, or competitions to motivate students
Keep accurate attendance records and manage class schedules effectively
Promote the benefits of martial arts training to prospective students and community members
Uphold the organisation’s standards of professionalism, safety, and sportsmanship at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching martial arts or related disciplines
Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage learners of all ages
Certification in martial arts instruction or relevant coaching qualifications are preferred but not essential for all disciplines
Ability to demonstrate technical proficiency in various martial arts styles
Enthusiastic, patient, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment
Ability to organise classes efficiently while maintaining safety standards
Previous experience working with diverse groups is advantageous
