Job Summary

Join our dynamic finance team as a Finance Assistant, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will drive smooth financial operations and support our organisation’s growth. In this vital role, you will assist with daily financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our financial processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment committed to excellence.

Duties

Process and record daily financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts with accuracy and timeliness
Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and reconciliations to support management decision-making
Maintain organised financial records and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures
Support accounts payable and receivable functions by verifying transactions and following up on outstanding items
Collaborate with team members to improve financial workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency
Assist in budget tracking and monitoring expenses against approved budgets
Contribute to month-end closing activities by preparing necessary documentation and reports

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel; familiarity with Xero accounting software is a plus
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving procedures

Pay: £28,500.00-£31,500.00 per year
