About the Role

Berliner Soundworks Ltd is a sample independent music company supporting recording, publishing, artist development, licensing, and digital releases.

We are seeking a Label Director to lead commercial strategy, oversee music releases, and manage relationships with artists and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and lead the label’s business strategy
Oversee artist development and release planning
Manage marketing, distribution, and publishing activities
Build relationships with artists and commercial partners
Review budgets, contracts, royalties, and licensing arrangements
Monitor streaming, sales, and campaign performance
Identify new talent and business opportunities
Lead internal teams and external specialists
Maintain professional and regulatory standards
Report commercial performance to senior stakeholders

What We Are Looking For Experience

8+ years of experience in music, entertainment, publishing, artist management, or media
Previous leadership responsibility for releases, teams, budgets, or commercial partnerships
