Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various premises, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and visitors. Previous experience in commercial cleaning the hotel, pub, and restaurant spaces. or janitorial services is highly desirable. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating a tidy, comfortable space.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to high standards
Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and towels as needed
Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or hazards
Organise cleaning schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks within allocated periods

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
Strong attention to detail with an organised approach to work tasks
Ability to work independently and efficiently without supervision
Good physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift
Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines effectively
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices
Reliable with a professional attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness
