Full job description

SALES OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Working with a small sales team answering telephone enquiries, putting orders onto the system, preparing quotes for customers and supporting the external sales team.

Most of our sales orders come through by email and a small amount by telephone, these are then processed onto TAS which is very similar to Sage and then picking and delivery notes are then printed out. When the appropriate paperwork has been completed the notes are then taken into the production unit and entered onto a whiteboard for the production team to pick/manufacture and then pack.

The orders are then processed onto the Tapfreight portal and at the end of each day a manifest is printed out for the collection driver.

At Adomast we have always prided ourselves on a personal level of service to our customers and Distributors and have excellent feedback regarding our products, service and administration therefore this makes our positions of sales advisors a very important role in the business.

At the month end a customer/sales spreadsheet is updated which gives information on month by month and year by year on orders from customers and from this we can see where sales are lost/won. This list can be used to contact customers to see if they need any further support if sales are down or have stopped ordering due to changing suppliers etc.

Emails come through from our website requesting data sheets and further information and these have to be responded to asap to ensure the contractor/customer gets the required info in a timely manner.

The above is a basic idea of what the job role is about however there are many other duties that are part of the Internal Sales Administrator position which would be explained to you if you were to be successful in your application.

Full training would be given on all our products and systems along with support from management in your role.

Starting Salary £26000.00

Holidays 20 days plus Statutory Bank Holidays.

6 months probationary period with a weeks notice from employee/employer to terminate in this time.
