The Role
We are looking for a Transport Administration Clerk to support our busy Transport Department. This role is responsible for providing accurate administrative support, managing transport-related queries, and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the department.
You'll work closely with Customer Services, Management, and Transport teams to resolve issues, coordinate deliveries, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and respond to transport and delivery-related queries via the department mailbox.
Process exceptional and emergency orders, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Maintain records, spreadsheets, and department reports.
Investigate proof of delivery (POD) and missing item queries.
Liaise with Customer Services and other departments to resolve issues efficiently.
Coordinate bookings and transport requests for key customers.
Escalate and delegate queries to the appropriate teams when required.
Provide general administrative support to the Transport Department.
About You
Previous administration experience in a busy office, transport, logistics, or warehouse environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive, proactive approach with good problem-solving skills.
Transport or fleet administration experience is advantageous but not essential.
