The opportunity:

Crown House Technologies, the specialist MEP delivery business of Laing O'Rourke, is seeking a Senior MEP Commercial Manager to join the team delivering Hinkley Point C, one of Europe's largest construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of a nationally significant nuclear power station while managing complex MEP packages within a highly regulated environment.

What will the role look like?

Lead the commercial governance of a £180m–£200m MEP package, ensuring robust commercial controls throughout delivery.
Manage all commercial aspects of the package, working closely with subcontractors, operational teams and key stakeholders.
Drive commercial, contractual and financial performance to maximise profit, cash flow and margin.
Prepare cost reports, forecasts, contract reviews and business updates for the project leadership team.
Monitor project costs and performance, proactively managing commercial risks and ensuring strong contract administration.
Manage procurement, subcontractors, variations, claims and change control.
Support day-to-day commercial delivery, including labour performance and defect management.
Provide commercial and contractual advice, promoting governance and best practice across the project.
Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and the wider project team.
Support budget management, financial control and the development of junior commercial team members.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

Strong NEC contract knowledge within MEP and infrastructure delivery.
Proven experience as a Commercial Manager / Senior Commercial Manager within the MEP sector, gained with a specialist MEP contractor or a main contractor.
Degree qualified in relevant discipline (Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management)
Member of RICS or working towards achieving MRICS status preferable.
