Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our team in GB. Based at our facility, this role is crucial in maintaining and optimizing our manufacturing equipment to ensure continuous production of high-quality medicines. Join us in our mission to make healthcare more accessible.
The Role:

To ensure the continued operation of the calibration systems and equipment within the company. To ensure that all work is performed in full compliance with GMP, SOPs, FDA, MHRA, work instructions and established safety standards.

Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, calibrate, alter / modify equipment and systems to the company calibration and regulatory standards

Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, electrical equipment and systems to current regulations.

Troubleshoot, maintain, adjust, and repair, calibrate, and install equipment with calibration functions, controllers, electronic circuits, and mechanical components.

Use test equipment and instruments to calibrate, repair and test apparatus, equipment and systems.

Working from drawings, layouts and other specifications to fault find and diagnose problems in the systems or equipment.

Competent in the sites BMS/EMS systems.

Use the department record systems, including computerised systems, to maintain precise, accurate records.

Contribute fully to the site Health, Safety and Environment requirements.

Provide support during Quality and Regulatory audits.

Adherence to cGMP.

The Person:

Qualified to NVQ 3 level or equivalent in an Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation discipline.

To be self-motivated and able to work under pressure to deadlines

Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organisation

Knowledge of cGMP,cGDP would be beneficial but not essential

Desirable – Compex 5&6

Desirable – Knowledge of 18th edition.
