At Zoo Events Group, we specialise in delivering luxury glamping experiences at some of the UK’s most prestigious festivals and live events.
This summer we’re on the hunt for experienced, motivated and hands-on Team Leaders to join our exciting event crew at Latitude, Boomtown Fair and Lost Village Festival. If you’re passionate about working outdoors and leading from the front, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced outdoor environments, managing and teaching crew members and takes pride in delivering high standards. You’ll play a key role in creating exceptional guest experiences while managing and motivating your own team on site.
The role
As a Glamping Team Leader, you’ll oversee teams of up to 7 crew members during the build, maintenance and breakdown of our glamping villages. You’ll ensure every aspect of the setup runs smoothly, efficiently and safely. From supervising the construction of our tents to training your team on perfect bed making and tent furnishing, you’ll uphold the highest standards of quality, safety and guest satisfaction.
- Supervising the construction and furnishing of luxury bell tents and glamping accommodation
- Leading teams to complete specific tasks under the direction of the Build Managers
- Training and supporting crew members to ensure consistently high standards across all areas of the build
- Carrying out quality control checks throughout each stage of the setup
- Assisting hands-on with tent construction, furnishing and breakdown when required
- Overseeing maintenance operations and guest services during the live event
- Monitoring crew welfare, maintaining health and safety on site and escalating any crew issues to a senior manager
- Keeping an accurate log of your teams’ working hours
This is a physically demanding and highly rewarding role that requires strong leadership, organisation and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Dates
To be considered for this role, you must be available for the following dates:
Team Leader training at our HQ - 14th July
A full-day training session designed to familiarise you with our build processes, standards and leadership expectations before the events begin.
Latitude 19th July - 29th July
During the live event period (23rd-26th July) you’ll be required to complete one 1-hour tent maintenance shift.
Boomtown Fair 5th August - 21st August
During the live event period (12th-16th August) you’ll be required to complete one 1-hour tent maintenance shift.
Lost Village 22nd August - 4th September
During the live event period (27th-30th August), you’ll complete one 6-hour guest services shift, showing customers to their accommodation.
Once you have completed your live event shifts, you'll have free time to enjoy the festivals.
Hours can vary, they will often exceed 40 hours a week and will include weekends. This position is temporary.
Pay and perks
- £15.69 per hour (inclusive of pro-rata holiday pay)

You should have:
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- The ability to give clear instructions and build a good relationship with your colleagues
- A proactive attitude and the ability to use initiative
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
- Good time keeping and a practical, hands-on approach
- Physically fit and the able to carry out prolonged manual work
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Desirable Experience
While not essential, the following experience would be highly beneficial:
- Festival, events or glamping work experience
- Experience working with outdoor structures, tents or temporary installations
- Customer-facing or guest services experience
You will need to arrange your own transport to and from events which are often in rural locations, so access to a vehicle is highly preferable.
Our HQ is based in Stockton, between Warminster and Salisbury but we recruit team members from across the UK and internationally (valid work visas required).
