Job Overview

We are seeking an Admin Assistant/Receptionist to join our Probate Team. This role offers an opportunity to support our probate team fee earner by managing administrative tasks. Administrative experience is preferred and strong organisational skills are essential for this position which is ideal for individuals looking to develop their career within the legal sector.

Duties

Greeting clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner at reception
Managing incoming calls, directing enquiries appropriately and taking accurate messages
Organising and maintaining case files, documents, and other relevant records
Assisting with the preparation of legal documents and correspondence related to probate cases
Scheduling appointments and meetings efficiently
Addressing client queries promptly and professionally
Supporting the team with general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, photocopying and data entry
Ensuring compliance with confidentiality and data protection policies at all times

Skills

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Previous administrative experience within a legal or professional environment is preferred
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy environment
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential
