We’re now looking for a passionate and reliable tutor to join our friendly team!

The Role

We are currently hiring for a maths and 11+tutor to support two year 5 students.

Pay: From £20 per hour
Location: SW19- sessions take place in the students' homes

Student 1: 11+ support. 1 hour weekly: Friday 5-6PM or Saturday PM

Student 2: Maths support. 1 hour weekly: Monday-Friday from 4PM onwards

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys engaging with young people and would like to make a meaningful impact through personalised, one-to-one teaching.

Essential Requirements

Please read carefully — applicants must meet the following essential criteria:

MUST have some professional experience working with children/young people, e.g. teaching assistants, teachers, childcare practitioners or nannies, etc. (REQUIRED)
MUST be available for the scheduled tutoring hours (REQUIRED)
MUST have achieved a B at GCSE or A level in the subject you're interested in tutoring if you are applying to work with GCSE/A-level students
MUST be able to prove that you have the right to work in the UK on a self-employed basis (REQUIRED)
MUST be able to access a printer as and when necessary- resources are provided however, tutors are expected to print from time to time (REQUIRED)

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 tutoring sessions, focusing on their individual learning needs and goals.
Build relationships and rapport with students
Make sessions fun and interactive
Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
Encourage and motivate students to build confidence in their academic abilities
