Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various settings, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for cleanliness and customer service to contribute to a welcoming environment. Prior experience in housekeeping is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for those who take pride in their work and enjoy creating tidy, comfortable spaces.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces
Change bed linens, towels, and replenish supplies as required
Clothes washing and ironing
Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a spotless environment
Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Assist with organising supplies and stock levels to ensure efficient operations
Provide excellent customer service by responding politely to guest or client requests when necessary

Skills

Experience in housekeeping is desirable but not mandatory
Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment safety protocols
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients or guests
Ability to work independently and efficiently within set timeframes
Basic cooking skills are a plus for roles involving hospitality environments but are not essential
Previous hotel or hospitality experience can be advantageous but is not required
