An exciting opportunity has arisen at Tuxford Academy for an exceptional Teaching Assistant to work with an experienced and highly motivated team of professionals within the academy’s SEND department. This is a permanent role, working 32.5 hours per week, term time only.

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and talented professional to work across Key Stages 3 and 4. The postholder will provide flexible support to help students engage fully with their learning, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and confidence needed to access the curriculum effectively.

Tuxford Academy has a strong team of professionals delivering high quality learning in and out of the classroom who work together to achieve our academy vision. The ideal candidate will:

hold a relevant level 3 qualification

exceptional work ethic and a sense of humour
be able to communicate effectively and concisely
be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
have experience and a desire to work with young people
have the confidence to support behaviour in a positive manner and support students with a wide range of abilities and learning needs
