Talent Acquisition Partner
Overview
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will take full ownership of recruitment delivery for Deputy and Registered Manager roles within your designated region, managing the end-to-end candidate journey from attraction through to offer and onboarding.
Working in close partnership with the Head of Talent and senior leaders across the organisation, you will help shape and deliver effective recruitment strategies that support Silver Birch’s growth ambitions and long-term workforce planning.
This is a hands-on delivery role, responsible for owning the end-to-end operational recruitment of roles within your remit, while also coaching and mentoring Recruitment Advisors within the team. You will work in close partnership with hiring managers across the business to deliver a high-quality, consistent recruitment experience for both candidates and stakeholders. As a culture champion, you will play a key role in fostering a positive, collaborative, and cohesive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Deliver recruitment solutions aligned to organisational objectives and growth plans.
- Partner with the Head of Talent on workforce planning, talent forecasting, and recruitment strategy.
- Embed recruitment policies and processes, ensuring consistency, fairness, and full compliance.
- Drive employer branding initiatives to strengthen Silver Birch’s position as an employer of choice.
Operational Excellence
- Lead the full recruitment lifecycle for Deputy and Registered Manager roles across your designated region.
- Attract and manage a pipeline of direct hire candidates for all roles
- Represent SBCH at job fairs, exhibitions and networking events
- Ensure a seamless and engaging recruitment process, from attraction and selection through offer and onboarding.
- Implement, optimise, and maximise the use of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including managing the candidate experience.
- Monitor recruitment metrics, market trends, and costs to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies.
- Ensure adherence to employment law, Ofsted requirements, and best-practice recruitment standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong, trusted relationships with hiring managers within your region to understand role requirements, team needs, and cultural fit.
- Provide expert advice, coaching, and challenge to managers on recruitment best practice and selection decisions.
Team Development
- Coach, develop, and performance-manage Recruitment Advisors.
- Share industry knowledge, insights, and innovation to upskill colleagues and stakeholders.
- Support succession planning and career development initiatives across the business.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance.
External Partnerships
- Build and manage effective relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, and career fair providers.
- Maximise return on investment from external suppliers and recruitment campaigns.
- Assist with employer branding activity across social media and recruitment marketing channels.
About You
- Proven experience leading end-to-end recruitment across a wide range of roles
- Strong working knowledge of ATS platforms and modern recruitment technologies.
- Confident influencing and partnering with stakeholders to shape and deliver talent strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, develop team members.
- Commercially astute, using data and recruitment metrics to inform decision-making.
- Passionate about delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
- A collaborative and positive team player who champions a happy, positive, supportive, and inclusive culture.
