Full job description

If you’re the kind of person who takes pride in seeing a job through from start to finish, delivering excellent customer service and enjoys a busy day that is over before you know it. Then we have a great opportunity for you!

We are looking to expand our Service Advisor team with someone who is comfortable dealing with customers face to face, is outgoing and personable with the ability to Influence people, problem solve, be persuasive and comfortable moving from task to task and be assertive when required.

We are at 4.6/5 on Trust Pilot and want to improve on that with your help and expertise.

The role starts with booking customers into our diary system, greeting the customer when they arrive, creating job cards for the Technicians and ensuring your customer is kept updated whilst their pride and joy is in your care. If parts need ordering or a warranty claim needs to be submitted, then you will take care of that too for your customer. Costs are agreed up front with the customer and invoices are raised after the work is completed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background, the ability to multi-task, good customer service/people skills, be highly organised and able to contribute to the team. Excellent communication skills are a must both verbal and written. We have a Dealer Management System which collates all the organisational and data requirements, so being experienced with computer systems is a distinct advantage. It sounds a lot, but we will give you training to build on your existing skills and experience?

The job description includes but isn't limited to;

Making customer bookings with reference to the workshop diary to ensure sufficient time to complete the repair
Making timed appointments and dealing with drop off’s and collections by customers
Seeing customer vehicles in and out of the business
Creating and amending job cards for work to be completed
Liaising with the workshop team on times, costs and parts requirements
Giving customer feedback on parts arrival dates and vehicle status
Submit and invoice warranty claims to manufacturers
Order parts where required
Supporting colleagues with administrative tasks
Respond to calls, emails and enquiries in a reasonable timeframe and professionally, referring the caller to the appropriate person/department, taking any messages where required.
Provide a pro-active service to customers to ensure customer satisfaction is at a high level
Ensuring accurate payments are taken (Card only no cash)

The working days for this position are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm, working the occasional Saturday. For any Saturday worked, you will be able to have a day off in the week.
