Full job description

Sutterton Surgery is growing and so is our dispensary which means we are looking for someone to join our friendly dispensary team. This will be 30 hours per week on rota basis Monday to Friday

Job Summary
Pharmacy Dispenser – Part-Time

Are you a detail-oriented and proactive team player looking to make a real difference in patient care? We are seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly, GP practice in Sutterton Lincolnshire.

About the Role:

As a key member of our dispensary team, you will be responsible for processing prescriptions, assisting patients, managing stock, and ensuring the smooth operation of our dispensary.

What You’ll Do:

Process prescriptions and prepare medications
Assist patients with queries, prescription requests/medication collections
Manage stock orders, deliveries, and medication storage
Ensure compliance with dispensary policies and procedures
Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

if you are an experienced dispenser looking for an exciting new role, then we'd love to hear from you. You will have the following skills and experience:
At least a Diploma Level 2 Dispensary or equivalent pharmacy services qualification.
Previous dispensary and pharmacy experience, ideally in primary care.
Strong attention to detail & IT proficiency
Excellent clinical and medication knowledge.
Confidence to work as part of a busy GP multi-disciplinary practice team and using your own initiative in decision making.
Ability to be adaptable and flexible in your approach.
Excellent patient facing inter-personal communication skills.
Sensitive and empathetic.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work well in a team.
