Full job description

We are a long standing plant and construction equipment dealership based in Derby. We specialise in the sale and service of both new and used Bobcat equipment.

Due to the continual growth of our organisation, we are excited to be offering a vacancy for a "Service and Warranty Administrator" to join our busy Service Department.

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather relevant evidence and submit warranty claims in line with manufacturer specifications. This includes responding to technical queries and resolving issues raised by the manufacturer.

- Registering new equipment, raising sales credits & purchasing machine warranty for new machines.

- Liaising with customers to book in breakdowns, field modifications & routine service work.

- Liaising with engineers on a daily basis.

- Raising purchase orders for parts.

- Answering queries from customers over the phone and via email.

- Organising potential service work in conjunction with the Service Manager.

Candidates:

A potential candidate should have excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to use their own initiative . They should be able to work independently and well as part of a close-knit team. They will be expected to plan and structure their own workload and work efficiently to meet deadlines. Problem solving abilities are a key attribute as candidates will be expected to resolve issues effectively and within a timely fashion. Prior warranty or parts experience is preferable due to the technical nature of the role. Some knowledge of Sage 50 processes would be advantageous although not essential.

As this role involves liaising with both customers and manufacturers, strong communication skills are essential. Candidates should be able to display effective IT skills and be proficient in an administrative environment, as well as showing an understanding of safe working practices within an industrial setting.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: £26,500.00-£28,000.00 per year
