Location: Shoreditch, London (with regular travel across the UK)
Type: Freelance start with potential for longer-term / in-house position
Rate: £250–£350/day moving to £36,000-£44,000 a year.
Start: ASAP (open to flexible onboarding)

Here Now Films is on the lookout for a Creative Producer — someone who can take a project from the first email to the final export.

This isn’t a typical producer role. It’s more like a hybrid Producer/Director, embedded in the full lifecycle of a film: developing the creative concept, shaping the narrative, managing production logistics, and overseeing post timelines. You’ll work alongside our Creative Director, Ollie Couch, on larger projects — and independently lead smaller ones.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in that full-spectrum creative space — someone who’s as comfortable mapping out a visual approach as they are building a call sheet or guiding a nervous contributor through a powerful interview.

What You’ll Be Doing

Creative development: Crafting treatments, moodboards, and story approaches based on client needs and brand narratives
Client comms: Guiding clients through the process from first contact to final sign-off
Pre-production: Managing schedules, locations, permits, contributors, risk assessments, and call sheets
On set: Leading interviews, directing shoots, and working with DOPs and crew to bring stories to life
Post oversight: Liaising with editors, shaping cuts, managing delivery timelines, and ensuring each film aligns with the creative vision
Team leadership: Helping shape the growing production function within our Shoreditch base — contributing to new systems, workflows, and creative culture

About You

You’re someone who understands that great films are built on trust, clarity, and care — not just good gear and decent scripts. You don’t need handholding, but you do know when to ask the right questions. You’re confident, collaborative, and capable of holding both the creative and logistical reins of a production.

You’re also comfortable with a bit of ambiguity. We’re a growing team and we value people who aren’t afraid to help shape the role as we grow — bringing structure where it’s needed, and pushing back when something doesn’t work.

Required Experience

2+ years experience in a creative producing or producer/director role
Track record of developing and delivering video content across brand, corporate, or documentary work
Excellent organisational skills — confident handling budgets, timelines, and logistics
On-set leadership experience — especially directing interviews and working with crew
Strong communicator — able to build trust with clients, contributors, and internal teams
Comfortable in fast-paced, multi-project environments
