Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for Operating Fibre laser cutting machines Brake presse usen in sheet metal fabrication. This role requires a strong understanding of welding techniques, mechanical principles, and the use of various hand and power tools. The Fabrication Engineer will play a key part in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities
- Design and develop fabrication processes for sheet metal and structural components, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards.
- Operate High precision machinery
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble and fabricate parts accurately.
- Conduct inspections of fabricated components to ensure precision and compliance with technical drawings.
- Assist in the assembly of complex mechanical systems, ensuring proper fit and function.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimise fabrication methods and improve production efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Document fabrication processes, modifications, and quality checks for record-keeping purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication engineering or a related field, with a focus on sheet metal work.
- Proficiency in TIG welding, <LOCATION> welding, and the use of various hand tools and power tools.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of assembly procedures and technical drawings.
- Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments.
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams and specifications accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £24,420.00-£43,014.59 per year
