Full job description

Job Summary
The Boars Head are seeking two part time staff that will mostly work on the bar. Reporting back to your line manager. You will serve customers their drinks with a positive attitude. Running the daily operations of the pub working with either the landlord or manager but most shifts you will be working independently.

I would like to hire some staff that are reliable and that I can trust with my business. If this is you, please apply.

Experience is a bonus but full training will be given to the right person or people.

Responsibilities

Serve a variety of beverages efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar
Take orders accurately and process payments using the till system
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
Ensure responsible serving of alcohol in accordance with licensing laws
Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth operation throughout the shift and at the end of your shift.
Engage with guests to create a friendly and welcoming environment
Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed during busy periods
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards
If on open. Some slight cleaning jobs and stocking up required.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or restaurant environments is advantageous but not mandatory
Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Strong time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy hours
Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing demands
A personable attitude with a genuine interest in providing outstanding guest experiences

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.71 per hour
