Full job description

Calling candidates with experience in sales (not necessarily vehicle sales), enthusiasm and a real interest in delivering exceptional customer service.

All applicants MUST have held a full valid driving licence for at least 3 years and live within 15 miles of Kirriemuir.

About the role

As an Autosales Trainee Sales Executive/Product genius, you’ll be responsible for handling sales inquiries – whether via the internet, telephone or in person – with enthusiasm, confidence and purpose.

To sell and promote the sale of new and used vehicles.
To create and maintain a positive customer-friendly environment.
To always be prepared to receive and process new customer enquiries and keep database accurate and up to date (walk-in, telephone, email)
To guide and inform customer whilst being able to give a competent and enthusiastic presentation of all of the vehicles within the range.
Coordinate orders and delivery information including Sales Administration Keep your customer up to date.
Achieve monthly sales targets for new and used cars
Promote the business via social media, direct mail etc.

Day-to-day duties

Selling our incredible range of new and used cars with enthusiasm and dedication in a fast-paced environment.

Communicating effectively with others to ensure delivery deadlines are met and promises delivered.
Maintaining customer records and staying in touch with existing clients to ensure a great after sales experience.
Managing your customer database to create new opportunities and ensure existing customer satisfaction.
Maintaining great standards in the showroom, including point of sale, photography & vehicle description's for our website.
Complete all manufacturer training and keep updated on new product.
Learning key specifications of vehicles in stock.
Present and conclude sales, completing all appropriate paperwork and documentation.

Essential skills

You’ll be highly organised, and confident managing your duties to make sure all our customers are looked after to the highest level.

Strong attention to detail – you’ll be able to get things right first time for our customers.
Valid UK Driving Licence required with no major endorsements.
A professional and friendly manner, with a great telephone manner.
Strong communication and influencing skills.
A high level of accuracy and the ability to multi-task within a busy environment.
The ability to work both in a team and independently.
Computer literacy.
No experience? We’ll consider candidates with or without a history in vehicle sales, and we’ll give you full training and support to help you make a success of the role.
