About us

HWIC cafe is a small coffee shop and cafe located in a business centre in Treliske Truro. We are supportive, customer-centric, fun, and our goal is to Provide a fun work environment focused on growing our employees confidence and well-being.

We are looking for a coffee shop assistant to join our team and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in making coffee drinks, handling cash transactions, and providing excellent customer service. The coffee shop assistant will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks and food, cleaning the café area, and ensuring that all customers are satisfied with their experience. We are looking for someone who is friendly, outgoing, and has a passion for coffee. Must be available on Tuesday and Friday between the hours of 9am and 2pm

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages / make sandwiches and salad boxes.
Greet customers in a friendly manner.
Take customer orders and process payments.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Maintain an adequate supply of ingredients and supplies.
Follow health and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.80-£14.00 per hour
