Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible operating, and maintaining press brake machinery to produce precise sheet metal components. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in fabrication and mechanical processes to contribute to high-quality production in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities

Monitor machine operation during production runs, making adjustments as necessary for quality control
Inspect finished parts for accuracy, dimensions, and surface quality, ensuring compliance with standards
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press brake equipment to minimise downtime
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain safety standards
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations

Qualifications

Previous experience in fabrication, sheet metal work, or operating press brake machinery is preferred
Familiarity with hand tools, tooling, and basic math skills for measuring and calculations
Understanding of safety procedures related to machine operation and manufacturing environments
Ability to work accurately with attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
