Full job description

Join our growing team

We are an established medical device manufacturing company based in Patna, East Ayrshire, with around 35 employees.

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and personable Sales Administration Assistant to join our small and friendly sales office.

This is a varied role working with customers throughout the UK and internationally. You will be part of a close-knit team where no two days are quite the same, and where being organised, positive and willing to get involved really matters.

What will you be doing?

Responding to customer enquiries by telephone and email
Processing sales orders and quotations
Communicating with UK and international customers
Following up orders and helping resolve customer queries
Supporting the sales team with day-to-day administration
Maintaining accurate customer and order information
Preparing spreadsheets, reports and other sales documentation
Liaising with production and other departments
General office and sales administration

We use Oracle NetSuite as our business management system. Previous experience is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided.

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone who is:

Energetic, friendly and enthusiastic
Confident speaking to people on the telephone
Comfortable communicating by email
Organised and able to manage several tasks at once
Confident using Microsoft Excel and Word
Computer literate and quick to learn new systems
Accurate and attentive to detail
A good team player who enjoys working in a small office
Positive, reliable and keen to learn and develop

Previous experience in sales administration, customer service or an office environment would be an advantage, but we are more interested in finding the right person with the right attitude and aptitude.
