Full job description

Overview

Jadaky Care Agency Limited is recruiting compassionate, reliable Care Assistants to join our growing home care team.

What we're looking for:

- Driver with own vehicle (essential)

- Valid DBS (Update Service desirable)

- Medication administration experience

- Moving & Handling experience

- Domiciliary/home care experience (preferred)

- Right to work in the UK

NB: Sponsorship/CoS not currently available

You'll be:

Duties

Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
Support individuals with their care plans to meet their specific needs and preferences
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life
Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals (training provided)
Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in condition
Assist with meal preparation and feeding where necessary
Support clients with light domestic tasks to promote independence
Drive clients to appointments or social activities when required (driving licence preferred)
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all

Qualifications

Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Basic IT skills for record keeping and reporting purposes
Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential
Driving licence is advantageous for supporting clients outside the care setting
Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow care plans accurately
Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required
