At our restaurant, food is more than just a meal; it’s about bringing people together. Rooted in a love of Palestinian culture, we aim to set a new standard in casual fine dining, with aspirations for Rosette-level distinction.

We’re looking for a passionate, driven, and dedicated Sous Chef to be the right hand to our Head Chef, guiding the team and playing a key role in shaping the heart of our kitchen.

How

You’ll lead by example — with energy, skill, and a calm presence. You’ll support the Head Chef in delivering beautifully executed plates, maintaining the rhythm of the kitchen, and upholding the standards we pride ourselves on. You’ll mentor junior chefs, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and be an essential part of driving creativity, efficiency, and excellence within the team.

What

As Sous Chef, you will:

Support & Lead: Assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring prep, service, and standards run seamlessly.

Mentor: Guide and develop junior chefs, fostering a culture of learning, teamwork, and respect.

Maintain Excellence: Consistently deliver high-quality dishes that reflect our bold, seasonal menu and fusion of Middle Eastern and British flavors.

Drive Standards: Ensure strong kitchen discipline, from stock management to hygiene, cost control, and wastage reduction.

Collaborate: Work closely with the Head Chef and front-of-house team to ensure communication is clear and service is exceptional.

Innovate: Bring fresh ideas to specials, prep techniques, and kitchen processes, contributing to a creative, forward-thinking environment.

Who You Are

An experienced chef with at least 2 years’ Sous Chef experience in fresh, high-quality kitchens.
Passionate about bold flavors, seasonal produce, and creating memorable dining experiences.
Confident in your leadership skills, with a natural ability to inspire and guide a team.
Skilled in Middle Eastern or British cuisine (or eager to learn and develop in this area).
Organised, reliable, and calm under pressure.
A team player with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, stock control, food safety, and health regulations.
