The Role

As a Business Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities while managing and growing existing customer accounts. You'll become a trusted advisor to your customers, understanding their needs and recommending solutions that help their businesses succeed.

Working closely with the Business Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in expanding our customer base and delivering an outstanding customer experience from first enquiry through to after-sales support.

What You'll Be Doing

Proactively identify, qualify and win new B2B customers.
Build, develop and manage long-term customer relationships.
Grow existing accounts by identifying additional sales opportunities.
Process customer quotations and orders accurately from enquiry through to delivery.
Deliver exceptional after-sales support and resolve customer issues professionally.
Communicate confidently via telephone, email, live chat and video calls.
Use our CRM system to manage customer activity and maintain accurate records.
Keep up to date with market trends, competitors and industry developments.
Recommend new products and identify opportunities to improve our offering.
Represent Festive Lights at customer meetings, exhibitions and trade events.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Consistently achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is commercially driven, enthusiastic and passionate about sales.

You'll ideally have:

Previous experience in B2B sales, account management or business development.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A proven ability to generate new business and grow existing accounts.
A customer-first approach with strong problem-solving skills.
Good IT skills and experience using CRM systems.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to work independently while contributing to a successful team.
A proactive attitude and a desire to continuously improve.
Resilience, energy and motivation to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Experience within lighting, interiors, electrical products or construction-related industries would be advantageous but is not essential.
