A little bit about the role...

Are you someone who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? Do you thrive in a bustling environment where your attention to detail makes a real difference?

We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen & Catering Assistant to join our team at our Stansted Innovation Centre. In this vital role, you will support our catering facilities by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, keeping our kitchen organised and ensuring our meeting and conference spaces are always guest-ready.

The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

As a core part of our catering team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Kitchen Excellence: Maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen environment, completing duties on the cleaning rota and keeping the dishwasher running efficiently throughout the day.
Meeting & Event Support: Preparing and placing tea & coffee in relevant meeting rooms, clearing down spaces after use and assisting the management team with the setup and clear up of conference events.
Stock Support: Ensuring fridges, shelves and condiments are fully stocked, putting away deliveries, and keeping cutlery and crockery readily available.
Refreshment Stations: Maintaining and preparing the tea trolleys for both floors and arranging regular collections of used crockery throughout the day.
Team Collaboration: Working closely with and supporting our Catering Assistant to deliver excellent overall service.

Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or hospitality environment is a plus, but a great attitude is essential!
