Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations to develop their career within a professional restaurant environment. The successful applicant will be committed to maintaining food safety standards and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook a range of dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards
Assist in the organisation and management of specific sections within the kitchen
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations at all times
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control
Serve dishes efficiently during service periods, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
Contribute to menu development by providing input on new dishes or improvements

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation within a professional kitchen setting
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Experience working in a restaurant environment, ideally in a similar role such as Demi Chef or Commis Chef
Familiarity with various cooking techniques and culinary styles
Previous experience in serving guests or assisting front-of-house staff is advantageous but not essential

This position requires dedication, creativity, and a genuine passion for culinary arts. Candidates should demonstrate organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
