Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bricklayer/General Builder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality masonry and building work across a variety of projects. Applicants should have experience working with a range of tools and materials, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail throughout their work.

Duties

Brickwork, stonework, slabbing etc
Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Assisting with general building tasks as required
Collaborating with other tradespeople to ensure smooth workflow on-site
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Reading technical drawings accurately
Assisting with site preparation, including groundwork and material handling

Skills

Demonstrable experience in bricklaying, masonry, and general building
Strong understanding of health and safety standards relevant to construction sites
Ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions accurately
Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Physical fitness to handle manual labour over extended periods
Excellent attention to detail ensuring quality workmanship at all times

Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
