Full job description

We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Person preferably with experience in a trade, to carry out installation, repair and upkeep operations across our two holiday parks.
A great maintenance person will have a solid understanding of general trades such as plumbing and electrical systems as well as carpentry and other crafts. They will be well-versed in all maintenance process and health and safety regulations.
The goal is to ensure the company facilities and accommodation are well-cared for and adequate to support the company’s business operations.
Responsibilities

Effective implementation of maintenance procedures
Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
Plan and implement repairs and installation activities
Monitor and report equipment/stock inventory when necessary
Support relationships with contractors and service providers
Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
Ensure health and safety policies are complied with

Requirements

Proven experience as maintenance person or self employed specialist
Solid understanding of technical aspects such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
Working knowledge of facilities and equipment
Ability to keep track of and report on activity
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organisational abilities
