Overview
We are seeking a talented and professional Hairdresser to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hairstyling and providing exceptional customer service while demonstrating a wide range of skills. This role offers opportunities for personal growth, mentoring, and developing specialised services. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating stylish looks tailored to each client’s preferences in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality haircuts, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments in accordance with client requests and salon standards
Upsell additional services and retail products to maximise client satisfaction and salon revenue
Manage front desk duties such as appointment scheduling, client consultations, and maintaining the salon’s organisation
Offer mentoring and support to junior team members to foster skill development and teamwork
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the salon environment
Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills and personalised service

Requirements

Proven experience as a Hairdresser with knowledge of current trends and techniques
Skills in store management, customer service, and upselling are highly desirable
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members
Ability to mentor junior staff and contribute positively to the salon’s atmosphere
Organised with excellent time management skills to handle multiple appointments efficiently
A professional attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding client experiences
