Production Assistant – Sublimation, Laser Engraving & Order Fulfilment

Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire

Job Type: Part-Time/Flexible (with potential to increase as the business grows)

Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience

About Us

We are a growing retail and e-commerce business specialising in personalised gifts, apparel, accessories, and custom products. As we expand into Amazon UK and Amazon US, we are looking for a reliable, organised, and hands-on Production Assistant to support daily production and fulfilment operations.

Responsibilities

Operate sublimation equipment and heat presses
Operate laser engraving equipment
Prepare artwork and production files for printing and engraving
Produce personalised products including mugs, tumblers, tote bags, apparel, gifts, and accessories
Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
Package and prepare customer orders for dispatch
Assist with stock management and inventory control
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe production workspace
Support new product launches and seasonal collections

Requirements

Experience with sublimation printing and heat press equipment
Experience operating laser engraving equipment
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Reliable, punctual, and organised
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to follow production procedures and quality standards

Desirable Skills

Canva or basic graphic design experience
Experience with Cricut, Silhouette, or similar cutting machines
Experience working with personalised gifts or print-on-demand products
Experience with Amazon, Etsy, Shopify, or e-commerce fulfilment
Basic photography or social media content creation skills
