Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Scaffolder with HGV to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and dismantling scaffolding structures on various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work at heights in a variety of environments. Duties
- Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to safety standards and project specifications
- Inspect scaffolding for stability and safety throughout the duration of use
- Ensure all scaffolding components are correctly assembled using appropriate hand tools and power tools
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters, roofers, and masons to facilitate construction activities
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to minimise risks on site
- Maintain organisation of scaffolding materials and tools on-site
- Assist with fabrication and customisation of scaffolding components as required
- Conduct regular safety checks and report any issues or hazards immediately
Experience
- Proven experience in scaffolding installation or related construction roles
- Knowledge of carpentry, roofing, masonry, welding, plumbing, electrical work, or construction painting is advantageous
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools used in scaffolding assembly and general construction tasks
- Experience with fabrication processes is preferred but not essential
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and safety instructions accurately
- Prior experience working at heights with adherence to safety protocols is essential
