Full job description

Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you will help lead daily operations, maintain high service standards and ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued and well looked after.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver consistently excellent customer service throughout every stage of the guest experience.Welcome customers warmly and ensure their needs are met promptly and professionally.Support the Restaurant Manager with the day-to-day running of the restaurant.Lead, motivate and support front-of-house staff during busy service periods.Monitor customer feedback and resolve any issues quickly and positively.Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and hospitality.Help train and coach team members in service standards, menu knowledge and customer care.Assist with staff rotas, opening and closing procedures and daily administration.Ensure efficient communication between front-of-house and kitchen teams.Support stock control, cash handling and compliance with company procedures.Help create a friendly, welcoming and professional atmosphere for both customers and colleagues.Promote a positive team culture focused on service excellence.

About YouThe successful candidate will have:Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality or customer service.A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.Strong communication and leadership skills.The ability to remain calm, organised and professional in a busy environment.Excellent problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.Good attention to detail and high personal standards.The confidence to support and motivate a diverse team.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays when required.A strong understanding of food, beverage and hospitality service standards.
