We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Geely – a global pioneer in automotive innovation and a brand set to transform the UK Motor Retail market in the years ahead. This collaboration is a landmark moment, with a brand new Vertu Geely dealership opening soon in Teesside.

At our Geely Teesside dealership, we are currently recruiting for a General Sales Manager to join us! We are offering a £40,000 basic salary with an OTE of £60,000 plus company car and company benefits.

As a General Sales Manager you will be leading and managing a controlled sales process through a team including Business Managers, Sales Executives and support colleagues through regular coaching, robust management and constant customer interaction with first and second facing activity at its heart. You will serve and support your team to sell new and used vehicles, with a range of add-on products including finance whilst ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times. You will also manage all sales campaigns and promotions that maximise sales ensuring we uphold the highest ethical standards

We are looking for a very talented, experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record of sales and performance within the motor industry. You will be able to clearly demonstrate your ability to generate impressive results by increasing sales performance, profitability and operating efficiency. You must have strong leadership and people management skills as your primary focus is to lead your team to deliver their business objectives. You will be able to demonstrate that you share our company values and possess strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Building trust and acting with integrity at all times is fundamental to this role.

To protect our customers and our reputation, successful candidates will be required to undertake a DBS check, along with regular fit and proper person assessments. We will also request references from previous employers as part of our pre-employment checks.
