E-Commerce & Operations Assistant
Location: Uxbridge, Middlesex
Salary: £24,500 - £26,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 6:00pm (45-minute lunch)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Please note: This is a fully office-based role and is not a remote or hybrid position. Applicants should live within a reasonable commuting distance of our offices in Uxbridge and be able to travel to work reliably each day.
About Us
We are a growing fashion and e-commerce business specialising in underwear, nightwear and loungewear, supplying both major retailers and online customers throughout the UK.
We are looking for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic E-Commerce & Operations Assistant to join our team.
This is a varied role where order processing and fulfilment will form a key part of your day-to-day responsibilities. Alongside accurately picking, packing and despatching customer orders, you will also assist with stock control, invoicing, customer service and the administration of our online sales channels.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within a growing e-commerce business. Whilst previous experience is beneficial, we are primarily looking for someone with the right attitude, excellent attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, pick, pack and despatch customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Process customer returns and exchanges.
- Receive, check and book in stock deliveries.
- Carry out regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure stock levels remain accurate across our website and online marketplaces.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
- Assist with customer invoicing and general administration.
- Assist with product listings and the day-to-day administration of our website and online marketplaces.
- Answer telephone enquiries professionally and assist customers where required.
- Welcome visitors and provide a friendly and professional first point of contact.
- Respond to customer enquiries by telephone and email.
- Help maintain an organised, tidy and efficient fulfilment and office environment.
- Support the wider team with general operational and administrative duties as required.
Skills & Experience Essential

Desirable
- Experience working with websites, e-commerce platforms or online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Shopify, Wix or similar.
- Experience in order processing, fulfilment, stock control, inventory management or invoicing.
- Previous experience within retail, logistics, warehouse operations, customer service or e-commerce.
